Spring Indoor Maintenance Tips
Spring Cleaning, time to attack the dust bunnies and deep clean your home.
Air Quality: Change or clean your HVAC filters and vacuum refrigerator coils.
Dryer Vents: Clean your dryer vents to reduce fire risk.
Smoke Detectors: Replace the batteries.
Windows: Clean the windows to brighten your home and let natural light in.
Chimney: Have your chimney inspected and cleaned if applicable.
Declutter: Say goodbye to items you no longer need or use to create a more organized space. My rule of thumb, if you have not used the item in a year, you probably do not need it.
Spring Outdoor Maintenance Tips
Gutters: Clean your gutters to prevent water damage.
Roof: After this past winter, Upstate New York experienced, inspect your roof for any ice damage.
Exterior Surfaces: Clean decks, driveways, fences and outdoor surfaces. Consider power washing your house to remove grime and mildew.
Driveways: Reseal driveways and paths- for a driveway consultation, contact Andre's Total Lawn Care.
Seals: Check and repair seals around windows and doors.
Lawn Equipment: Check your lawn mowers, sharpen blades and other equipment for the season.
Trim your trees and shrubs.
Sprinkler System: Inspect and repair and damages caused by winter.
